Ocean

Rainy 1st Day....

Some beach time

How much sand can I eat.....

How did I not blog about this....2 weeks ago we went to the beach for the 1st time.
The day we got there it was drizzly, ate lunch on the balcony watching the ocean & by the afternoon we were able to walk on the beach. Liliana did not sleep well in the new environment making for an x'tra LONG night. But we did catch some rays the next day & Liliana was able to get her 1st taste of the beach....literally, she ate tons of sand. I was surprised at how much she enjoyed the water too....I can't wait to take her back...

Sleepy girl....

I Walk the Line

She's doing it, she's walking- how crazy is that. Baby steps at that, one, two, three--unsteady little baby steps, but she's doing it. Its mind baffling that shes already to this point. I haven't blogged much lately, but I thought this was a big milestone in her life. I missed her 10 month stats, what she's doing/ been up to & well I thought this is blog worthy.

So @ 10 and a 1/2 months Liliana is:

*Taking her first steps
*Eating more & more, hummus & edamame are her new favs.
*Dancing, she likes to get her groove on--especially to Jay-Z
*Likes to share by giving you her toys with a smile
*Loves, loves, loves bath time

Ok, so 11 months is quickly approaching & the the big 'ONE' year, crazy. I've learned plenty about myself, where my priorities were previously & how I desire for my life to be simple & family driven. I love my life & look forward to more children in the future. :)

Whats Interesting

The good side of having your house on the market, readily available to show at any time, is that it forces you to keep it clean. The type of clean that all dishes are away, floors vacuumed, items dusted, no 'junk' out. Its a juggle to do at times w/Liliana, but its nice to have a tidy house. We have a process every time we leave the house.
Bathrooms check (towels picked up, toilets flushed-just in case), trash away & out of house, that means any evidence of diapers, etc., toys away, no Liliana food on the floor.
All these lists are the 'To-dos' of leaving a tidy house for someone just to come in & inspect & comment of what they like & don't like.
The emotional side is well up & down. Mostly down lately. Its been well 5 weeks now we've had a fare amount of showings BUT no bites, no offers...natta. You think when you leave the house before a showing, maybe this one, maybe they will be the ones....
Then you wait, wait for feedback/comments.
Its one thing to do the physical part, cleaning up--but the emotional stuff, well thats so much harder.
